Hannah was Cinderella. (Anyone surprised she would pick a princess? Didn't think so!) This is a recycled ballet costume from last year. (Hey, when you spend THAT much money on them, you gotta find any excuse to use them again!) On the first night we dressed up (for the church Halloween party) she had some plastic dress-up shoes that look kind of like glass slippers, but she could only find one of them. So she walked around all night in one shoe and just told everyone she lost her slipper "on the way out of the castle". I thought that was pretty creative. But I wouldn't let her trick-or-treat that way, so she just wore some church shoes. Anyway, I loved how her hair came out, so I got some close-ups of it:

Emily couldn't make up her mind what she wanted to be. Up until the night of the church party, she still hadn't decided for sure, so she just put on an old jazz costume that looked like a cheerleader outfit. And then for trick-or-treating, she used her sister's hip-hop costume and went as a hip-hop dancer. She was cute.
Alison didn't really dress up as anything this year. She wanted to go as a dumb blonde, but we told her she really should wear some sort of costume! LOL Anyway the "blonde" wig we bought ended up being basically white, and she looked like an old lady with really long hair trying to look hip and young. She pretty much looked like a freak! She wore the wig to the church party, and when people asked what she was, she just said, "I don't know, what do you think?"
We had fun trick-or-treating. It was way better than last year, when our neighborhood was basically still empty and there was no one out. This year, we bought 2 HUGE bags of assorted candy and just about ran out. There were lots of people out, and most of the houses had people home giving out candy. Because all our church friends live within about 4 blocks of us, we just walked around our neighborhood and knew everyone we went to. That made things safer and nicer for Mom!

Hannah really looks like Cinderella! Her hair looks great!
You forget to mention the distress over the witch on the door behind her. Hannah made that at school and the day after Halloween it rained and the wind blew it apart. Much weeping and wailing over that one ...
